tksolfege.tcl

Tksolfege is an ear training program with rhythmic dictation for music students. It is written in Tcl/Tk script and will run on any computer or operating system in which Tcl/Tk is installed. This includes Windows, Unix, Linux and Macintosh. You may also be interested in checking out tkrhythm.

Tksolfege depends upon the muzic starkit. Unfortunately this package is not 64bit compatible, and you cannot run tksolfege.tcl with the 64-bit tcl/tk interpreter. If you are running one of these executables which contains the 32-bit tcl/tk package, you have no problem and you should continue.

Starting from October 16 2020, tksolfege.tcl no longer requires the muzic starkit package, but instead requires the fluidsynth executable which you can download from http://www.fluidsynth.org/.

tksolfege.html describes what this program does.
