Hi song circle singers :)

Just a brief plug for an event that you might be interested in as I know many of you are contra dancers already.... our new contra dance season starts this Saturday!  

AND...great news as there will always be a dance on the Saturday right after song circle as all of our dances are on 1st and 3rd Saturdays this year

NEVER contra danced? Here are some reasons why you might like it:
-Fabulous live celtic (or quebecois) traditional music EVERY dance including some touring bands from quebec and the new england states!
-Really vibrant, welcoming and friendly dance community.
-We like beginners so much we even have 'get into the second dance free cards' for total beginners!
-All dances are called and there's a free beginners lesson before every dance
-Don't need a partner (although partners can certainly come)
-Community dancing where you can get into a great groove, get some exercise, and smile LOTS!
-All ages event, ages 16 and under free.
