Apologies for the spamification, but I thought I'd post this here, in case anyone is interested.

The Ottawa Celtic Choir is having its first rehearsal tonight at St. John the Evangelist Church, on the corner of Elgin and Somerset.  Rehearsal is from 7pm to 9pm.  The choir sings songs of the Celtic nations and Celtic diaspora, in English and in various Celtic languages.  An ability to read music or speak a Celtic language is not necessary to join the choir.  There is a membership fee, but that goes towards space rental, insurance, music, and a stipend to an accompanist.

Speaking of which, I'm also looking for an accompanist to play piano for the choir.  If anyone is interested, or knows someone who might be interested, would you please pass the message on and ask them to get in touch with me?
