  Song Circle this Friday, Aug 8 at the home of Christina and Duncan
  Baird.  Follows is a repeat of the announcement they had already sent,
  with the schedule following:


  Dear Song Circle members,

  Duncan and I had a wonderful time at Susan's back in June and would be
  delighted to host on August 8th, if no one else has claimed that
  honour.  We are still new, so please let me know if I have forgotten
  anything!

  Our house is in Parkwood Hills, south off Meadowlands between Merivale
  and Fisher
  We have a brown garage and blue-grey minivan

  By bicycle, it is really pleasant to:

  From points north:
  *ride along the Colonel By trail to Hog's Back
  *go under the bridge to the south side
  *then follow Hog's Back to Prince of Wales (where Hog's Back turns
  into Meadowlands)
  *turn left onto Prince of Wales and continue south to Normandy
  *turn right on Normandy, ride several blocks, and cross Fisher
  *follow the right fork of Normandy where it turns into Inverness
  *follow Inverness until Kilmory comes up on your left
  *follow Kilmory up the hill to the elbow bend
  *44 is just past the bend on your left

  From the west:
  *ride through the Experimental Farm and turn right (south) at Fisher
  *the most direct route is then south along Fisher to Normandy (write
  to me for the scenic, less busy route!)
  *turn right on Normandy and follow the right fork where it turns into
  Inverness
  *follow Inverness until Kilmory comes up on your left
  *follow Kilmory up the hill to the elbow bend
  *44 is just past the bend on your left

  From the east:
  *ride along the Rideau River to Hog's Back
  *follow Hog's Back to Prince of Wales (where Hog's Back turns into
  Meadowlands)
  *turn left onto Prince of Wales and continue south to Normandy
  *turn right on Normandy, ride several blocks, and cross Fisher
  *follow the right fork where it turns into Inverness
  *follow Inverness until Kilmory comes up on your left
  *follow Kilmory up the hill to the elbow bend
  *44 is just past the bend on your left



  By bus, you can take an 86 or 111 or 117 to Beliveau and Meadowlands,
  then walk into our subdivision:
  *south on Beliveau (it's a T intersection with Meadowlands, so that
  part's easy!)
  *walk to TIVERTON, it is 2 streets further
  *turn right and walk to KILMORY, it is the next street
  *turn left and walk to 44 KILMORY, it is on the right
