[Contradancers] Cajun dance in Rupert - May 14

Hi Contra dancers!

Godknowswhat played a great contra dance in January for us.  Here's a cajun dance they have coming up in the Wakefield/Rupert area.  Please contact Peter directly if you have questions.

Godknowswhat Cajun Dance
Friday May 14 in Rupert, Quebec, about a 7 minute drive outside of Wakefield. 

The directions to the venue are easily found by google-mapping or mapquesting the address (24 Shouldice Road, La Peche). 

This should be a fantastic night, with Tina Therrien from Peterborough’s BobCajun joining us on vocals, guitar, rub-board, etc. and Tom and Myra offering lessons in the Mamou two-step (aka the Texas Two-step). For those who plan to attend the lessons from 8-9 please e-mail me to confirm a spot (pandree at peterboro.net) though this is not imperative. I’d just like to have a rough sense of numbers beforehand. Tix are $10 at the door.
