[Contradancers] Ottawa Contra – still looking for lights donation AND info re. Toronto dance weekend!

Hi Ottawa contra dancers:

Two quick but separate items…

1. Christmas lights and extension cords
We are still looking for strings of little white Christmas lights + a couple of extension cords.  Do you have a few you could donate?  We have had some donated but think we might need a few more strings. If you have any, email Emily at eaddison at trentu.ca

We are hoping to have all these set up for our next dance but after is ok as well.

2.Toronto dance weekend
Toronto is having their annual contra dance weekend April 17-19!
They are bringing up a famous band and caller from Vermont (Wild Asparagus and George Marshall) – the event should be great.
We don’t have a dance that weekend and it would be a neat way to check out a different contra community without having to cross the border.
