Hello Ottawa contra dancers:

Ottawa’s next contra dance is coming up this Saturday… February 28th!

This should be an AMAZING dance as we have SABIN JACQUES and RACHEL AUCOIN from Montreal coming to play – a real treat.  For those who went to the Dance Flurry in 2008, Sabin and Rachel are half of Tidal Wave and are well known throughout Quebec (and beyond) as a really strong duo.  They been in numerous bands and have a number of albums through various projects…  Sabin and Rachel will rock All Saints Church - nice lively, energizing Quebecois groove.

We also PIPPA HALL calling.  She’s a local as many of you know … pulls out really neat dances and does a fabulous job in making the evening fun!

As a heads up, we’ll have someone there taking pictures for our new website so if you feel like being colourful this dance, put on that funky shirt or skirt. :)
