Hello Ottawa contra dancers,

With our dance season starting in less than a month, here’s an announcement about our first two events!

*****Quick reminder: Dates and location for the 2009-2010 season*****
Our dances are on ALL 1st and 3rd Saturdays between September and June (except Oct 17-hall unavailable) for 2009-2010.  This means more dancing fun for us and regular dates to remember. ******SATURDAY September 19th – SPECIAL DOUBLE EVENT!******
CROWFOOT and BEV BERNBAUM

-300pm waltz lesson (free)
-330-530 mostly waltz dance (two hours of couple dancing, mostly waltzes with a sprinkle of other styles. No partner required! 7$)
-530-730 dinner (stick around and go out to dinner with other dancers or bring your own food and find a patch of grass for a picnic)
-730 contra basics lesson (free)
-8-11 contra dance (12$, 10$ for students and members)
*special price for both events of 15$, ages 16 and under free for both events

Please remember to avoid wearing scents to dances as we have dancers with severe allergies.  
AND… remember to bring a reusable water bottle (we provide the lemonade) to help us help the environment!
